What is FEA?

Finite Element Analysis (FEA or FEM) is a mathematical method for simulating load cases using computers. FEA derives its name from the multiple small elements used to break up the problem being solved. Computers are used to accelerate the process of solving many complex equations to provide a solution.

Why use FEA?

Rota Design uses the finite element analysis method in (i) new product development, (ii) existing product optimisation, (iii) investigation of existing product failures, however, it may also be able to simulate test conditions for C.E. marking and for compliance with International and National Standards etc. It also allows us to simulate real life scenarios and assists in answering some critical questions.
